[Durham INC] Four Vacancies on the Durham Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission

There are four vacancies on the Durham Bicycle andPedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC).  The primary purpose of BPAC is toprovide advice to the City Council and the Board of County Commissioners onbicycle and pedestrian issues.  In addition to the monthly BPAC meeting,members are expected to be active on at least one committee. Committees alsomeet once a month and sponsor special events.  More information about BPACis here.

City of Durham Vacancies

§  Thereare currently two (2) City of Durham vacancies on BPAC. One vacancy is for a YouthRepresentative between the age of 15 and 24, with the term to expire inAugust 2024. The other vacancy is for a representative of the Walking/Running/Pedestrian Community for Marginalized Groups with the term toexpire in August 2025.

§  Appointmentsare made by Durham City Council

§  Applicationdeadline: April 14, 2022

Durham County Vacancies

§ There are currently two (2) Durham Countyvacancies on BPAC. One vacancy is for a Youth Representative between the ageof 15 and 24. The other vacancy is for an At-Large representative.

§ Appointments are made by Durham Board of CountyCommissioners.

§ Application deadline: March 30, 2022 at 5:00p.m.
