BOCC to Hold In-Person Work Session on April 4
Watch online on YouTube or County website

Durham, N.C. - The Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is hosting its first in-person Work Session since moving to virtual meetings due to the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020 at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022. Meetings are held inside the Commissioners' Chambers, located on the second floor of the Administration I Building at 200 E. Main St.

The public is welcome to attend all BOCC meetings. Seating is limited inside the Chambers due to social distancing guidelines. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to County staff. A low-capacity overflow seating area will be provided in the lobby on the second floor of the Administration Building.

While social distancing will be established with seat arrangements, in-person attendees are reminded of the benefits of masking while in indoor spaces populated by others.

Residents who wish to participate in meetings are encouraged to continue using the virtual option and watch live on the County's website<https://www.dconc.gov/county-departments/departments-a-e/board-of-commissioners/commissioner-meetings-and-announcements/bocc-agendas-video-library> or on the County's YouTube channel<http://www.youtube.com/dcowebmaster>.

Residents wishing to deliver citizen comments or to comment regarding agenda items in person will need to sign up prior to the meeting in the lobby. If seating is full in the Chambers, they will be asked to remain in the lobby and staff will come and get them when spacing permits.

The option to submit comments virtually remains. All comments should be emailed to the Clerk to the Board at clerk at dconc.gov<mailto:clerk at dconc.gov>. Comments must be submitted by 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 3. Submissions must include a full name and address.

The agenda for Monday's BOCC meeting can be accessed here<https://www.dconc.gov/county-departments/departments-a-e/board-of-commissioners/commissioner-meetings-and-announcements/bocc-agendas-video-library>, when available.
