Durham County Cooperative Extension Celebrates 2022 Report to the Community
Community members invited to event on Wednesday, May 4



Durham, N.C. - Durham County Cooperative Extension is celebrating the launch of its 2022 Report to the Community with an outdoor breakfast celebration at the Briggs Avenue Community Garden, located at 1598 S. Briggs Avenue, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.



Community members are encouraged to drop by to tour the Community Garden, visit tables with information about each of the Durham County Cooperative Extension programs, and collect a special memento of the event. A formal program at 9:30 a.m. will include presentations from community and Extension leaders, as well as a cooking demonstration, a youth-led quiz, and several other informative and fun activities.



In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 12 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Any schedule updates will be available on the Extension website at https://durham.ces.ncsu.edu/.
