Durham, N.C. – The Durham County Public Information Office continues to bring residents important information on our programs and services with the “In Touch with Durham County” show for May 2022<https://youtu.be/4tNdKMFj14c>.

In this month’s episode<https://youtu.be/4tNdKMFj14c>, host Deborah Craig-Ray, General Manager of Strategic Planning and Innovation, welcomes from Durham County’s Human Resources Department Business Systems and Operations Manager Dara Richardson and Kids Voting Durham’s Carolyn Krueger.

Richardson comes on to discuss the myriad of challenges all employers are currently facing during the Great Resignation time period where a record number of employees are voluntarily resigning from their jobs. Richardson highlights Durham County Government’s hiring incentives being offered to job seekers and current employees. She shows the great benefits offered by our organization, as well as other perks – including training, events, and other tools that Durham County offers to be an employer of choice. In segment two of In Touch with Durham County, Krueger returns to our show just as the Early Voting period for the 2022 Primary and Election has begun. She also talks about the importance of civic engagement when we are young in creating involved citizens, volunteer opportunities currently available and much more!
