BOCC to Hold Regular Session on June 13
Board scheduled to vote on Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget Ordinance

Durham, N.C. - The Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a Regular Session meeting in person on Monday, June 13, 2022, beginning at 7 p.m. Meetings are held inside the Commissioners' Chambers, located on the second floor of the Administration I Building, located at 200 E. Main St. The Board is scheduled to vote on approval of the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget Ordinance during the meeting.

The public is welcome to attend BOCC meetings. There is no sign-up sheet or request form to attend meetings, however, it is important to note that there are limited seating options. The ability to sit inside Chambers is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seating priority is given to County staff. A low-capacity overflow seating area is set up in the lobby on the second floor of Administration Building I. Individuals seated in the lobby can view the meeting on screens.

Residents who wish to participate in meetings are encouraged to continue using the virtual option due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines still in place inside the Board Chambers. While social distancing will be established with seat arrangements, in-person attendees are reminded of the benefits of masking while in indoor spaces populated by others.

Those wishing to submit citizen comments regarding agenda items should email them to the Clerk to the Board at clerk at dconc.gov<mailto:clerk at dconc.gov> by 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12. All submissions must include the residents' full name and home address. Submitted comments will be read aloud by the Clerk to the Board during the meeting.

Residents may also speak in person on agenda items at the meeting. All speakers must complete the Public Comment Regarding Agenda Items form<https://www.dconc.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/16329/635895892178300000> and submit it to the Clerk prior to the start of the meeting.   1.  22-0342 - Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendment, Omnibus Changes 17 (TC21000006)


Residents wishing to comment in person on public hearings must sign up with the Clerk to the Board prior to the meeting and provide their full name and address.

Anyone who wishes to view the BOCC sessions can watch live on Durham Television Network (DTN), Spectrum Channel 8. The meetings are also streamed live on the Durham County website<https://www.dconc.gov/county-departments/departments-a-e/board-of-commissioners/commissioner-meetings-and-announcements/bocc-agendas-video-library> and the County's YouTube channel<http://www.youtube.com/dcowebmaster>.
