for a demanding year.*

School nurses are at the epicenter of many concerns a child brings to
school, from racism to hunger to mental health needs.

School nurses are an investment in our children, but only 40% of schools
have one full-time. To do their jobs, they need better pay, better

Acenda awarded $1M grant to launch New Jersey's first public health
institute

Efforts to make New Jersey a healthier, more equitable state took a major
step forward with the announcement that Acenda Integrated Health will serve
as the "incubator" organization to launch the state's first public health
institute.

More than 30 states and territories are served by a public health
institute; New Jersey's would be the first to have advancing health equity
as a founding priority.
