Community Feedback Needed for Future of US 70 East Corridor

DURHAM, N.C. - If you live or travel along US 70 in east Durham, you know how congested and hazardous travel can be in that area. To help plan for the future of this busy highway, resident input is now being sought for the US 70 Corridor Study<https://www.dchcmpo.org/what-we-do/programs-plans/special-studies/us-70-corridor-study>.

The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO<https://www.dchcmpo.org/home/showpublisheddocument/3368/637498309506700000>), the regional transportation planning agency, is hosting both virtual and in-person public meetings to better understand the travel needs of the community in the corridor. Meetings will be hosted:

  *   Tuesday, December 13, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Virtual Meeting
  *   Thursday, December 15, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. | Virtual Meeting
  *   Saturday, December 17, 11 a.m. - noon | In-Person Meeting
