[Durham INC] Make your plan to vote!

 There are *state-wide* and Durham *County elections* that will impact your
daily life. They don't get the news coverage as national races, but it is
important that *every person eligible to vote register and vote.*

The *Primary is in March* which isn't as far off as you might think!
The *County
Commission race will be decided in the Primary* because all the candidates
are Democrats.

Attached are handouts from the Durham County Board of Elections.

Here are some important pieces of information from those documents so you
are prepared:

*The voter registration deadline is:*

   - Friday, February 9th at 5:00 p.m.

*Will you be out of town between February 15th to March 5th?
Absentee-by-mail voting begins:*

   - Friday, January 19th begins absentee voting
   - Last day to *request absentee*/no excuse vote by mail: *February 27th*

*Early voting will be held:*

   - Thursday, February 15th to Saturday, March 2nd

Primary Election Day --- *Tuesday, March 5th* ---- polling places will be
open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm on Election Day.
