On July 8, 1944, Pfc Booker T. Spicely was shot dead by a white bus driver at the corner of Club & Berkeley.
The public is invited to attend a vigil on the 80th anniversary of the shooting at Club & Berkeley.
Monday, July 8 at 7:30West Club Blvd & Berkeley StBrief remarks, followed by lighting of candles
7/8 Vigil & 7/7 Spicely play are hosted by the Booker T. Spicely committee
