<span lang="EN">Creek Week has been celebrated in the third week of March each year in Durham since 2009, with 4,117 volunteers collecting 190,637 pounds of litter to date. In a show of inter-agency cooperation, the City’s Neighborhood Improvement Services
Impact Team and the Durham County General Services Department will ensure litter that is collected is properly disposed of and/or recycled.
