<div class="PlainText">We are having a launch event for Solarize the Triangle '23 on May 15th 6:00-8:00 at Hi-Wire Brewing (Goldenbelt). Solarize the Triangle is a group purchasing program to bring down the cost and effort involved in installing solar on homes
and businesses. It was so successful last year that we are doing it again! We will have food and drink and opportunities to learn more and have the ability to ask questions of the solar provider and other community partners. Sign up for the even here

Even if you can't make it on Monday, you can sign up for a free assessment <a href="https://www.solarcrowdsource.com/campaign/solarize-the-triangle-2023/">

<br>
Solarize the Triangle provides an opportunity to install solar energy and battery power at your home, business or non-profit organization. Through this unique campaign, residents and businesses can save on the ordinary cost of a system through combined purchasing
with others in the Triangle plus the availability of a federal tax credit. The City and County are providing funding for low-income homes to participate in the program.
<br>
<br>
Solarize campaigns are driven by community group purchasing. Based on a tiered "bulk" purchasing concept, the more local residents and business owners who contract for their solar installations through the program, the more savings accrue to all participating
property owners. <br>
<br>
In addition to the City of Durham and Durham County, other participating Triangle communities include: Chatham County, City of Raleigh, Town of Cary, Town of Chapel Hill, Town of Hillsborough, Town of Carrboro, Town of Apex, Town of Morrisville, Town of Holly
Springs, and Orange County. The Triangle J Council of Governments and Solar CrowdSource are facilitating the launch of Solarize the Triangle with Triangle local governments.
<br>
<br>
Yes Solar Solutions (<a href="https://yessolarsolutions.com/">https://yessolarsolutions.com/</a>) and Solar Crowdsource are the exclusive partners through Solarize the Triangle and the City and County do not have any other community solar programs. Please beware
of other solar companies stating or inferring that they are associated with either the City or County. There are no other solar companies that are working on community solar programs with the city or county?<br>
