<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%">Durham’s observance of National Night Out (NNO), will be on</span><span><span style="font-size:8.0pt;line-height:105%;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">
</span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%">Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Neighborhoods, agencies and businesses are encouraged to support the celebration by enjoying the evening outside with neighbors, law enforcement and public safety partners.
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%">NNO is a collaborative effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood unity. The
</span><a href="https://natw.org/" target="_blank"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%">National Association of Town Watch</span></a><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%"> (NATW), which spearheads the observance, anticipates NNO 2024 will involve 18,000
 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases around the world.</span>
</p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height:105%">Registration for the City of Durham will begin Monday, July 1, 2024 and the deadline for registration is Friday, August 30, 2024. For registration and observance information, visit the
