Hi All -

Just passing along a webinar of interest put on by Acquia and ForumOne:

*Connecting Communities of Practice in the Public Sector with Drupal*

The 2010 National Education Technology Plan demonstrates the importance of
educators becoming more connected to resources, tools, colleagues, experts,
and learning activities both within and beyond schools. Educators are using
online communities of practice to make these connections and facilitate
their professional development. Acquia Commons has proven to be the ideal
solution for this initiative because it delivers an inexpensive, highly
flexible and scalable environment to meet the needs of these constituents.

Join Acquia and Forum One for this webinar where we will discuss how Acquia
Commons has enabled the Connected Online Communities of Practice project to
deliver a sustainable ecology of online communities for educators. And as a
result how they are improving teacher and leader effectiveness, enhancing
student learning and increasing overall productivity.

Attendees will learn:

   - How the Forum One team helped manage and deliver this project
   - Tips for minimizing IT resources with Acquia Commons
   - Techniques for fostering a successful community
   - How to apply this other public sector community projects
