Duke Gardens hosts "The Secret Life of Bees" Performance
Please come and enjoy a professionally staged theatrical adaptation of the
New York Time's best selling novel, The Secret Life of Bees, performed by
Denise Wilbanks. From the novel by Sue Monk Kidd, this performance is set
during the Civil Rights Movement, where a young girl's search for truth
about her mother leads her to three beekeeping sisters and the discovery
of the real meaning of family.
Performances will take place in the Doris Duke Center on Friday, January
18th at 7pm and Saturday, January 19th at 11:30am.
