INC NEWS - Making East Durham as barren as South Durham

I have recently heard about a neighborhood in Eastern Durham County that is facing the same kind of flatten-the-land, scalp-the-trees, density and run-off at any cost development that South Durham has been experiencing.

Good news: the polluted water will go into Raleigh's drinking water instead of ours. (-:
Bad news: the type of soil will make erosion even worse.
More bad news: The area will never be efficient to serve with public transit (who wants to go downtown to catch another bus) so folks out there will be stuck with bad choices as the price of gas goes up......

For more details about the proposal and what you can do (at least please sign their petition)
