Confused about the news pouring out of financial markets in recent
weeks? Unsure about the impact of Wall Street on Main Street? In
response to high public interest, the Durham County Library has invited
Campbell Harvey, Professor of International Business at Duke
University's Fuqua School of Business, to explain the origins of the
current economic situation, to discuss the implications for the US
economy, and to answer your questions about this turbulent time.
Professor Harvey's ideas have been featured in major media outlets
including The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Time, and the Washington
