All day, the billboard industry has been hammering legislators to pass their version of the billboard bill -- instead of the improved House version.

They've stacked the Senate-House Conference Committee and the only person standing in the way is House Speaker Thom Tillis. He wants local jurisdictions to be able to have local control on billboards. But he's under pressure to buckle.
