SEPTEMBER 29-30 BOOK SALE AT BOOKS AMONG FRIENDS

Saturday, September 29 · Members Only: 10 a.m. - 12 noon · Regular Sale: 12 noon - 4 p.m.

Sunday, September 30 · $10 Bag Sale: 1 - 4 p.m.

Books Among Friends sells everything from fiction to poetry and music to nonfiction on history, politics, animals, science, and the arts. Don’t miss the next opportunity to shop on Saturday, September 29, and Sunday, September 30. Proceeds go to the Friends of the Durham Library, a nonprofit that helps the Durham County Library fund programs, services, and materials. Hardbacks are $3, trade paperbacks are $2, small paperbacks and young adult books are $1, and children’s books are 25 cents to $1. AV materials are $1 to $4 and special books are priced as marked. Saturday’s sale is open to the public starting at 12 noon. For early access starting at 10 a.m., purchase an annual individual membership ($15) or family membership ($25) at the door. Sunday’s $10-per-bag sale is from 1 to 4 p.m. Books Among Friends is inside Northgate—immediately on the right as you exit Sears into the mall. Questions?
