[Ohioaap-practicemanagers] Influenza test billing question

Question for our listserv members!

I am having an issue with Buckeye paying for the influenza test 87804. They are bundling 87804 with the strep test 87880 together and not paying the allowable amount. We have been told by our provider rep that these 2 codes are not to be bundled and are payable codes. We are not having any issue regarding these codes with any other insurance. This is still ongoing as of today and with sick season coming around this is causing a huge issue. Can you please inform me as to the billing rule for these 2 codes? We are using proper CPT codes and diagnosis codes.
