  1.  AAP Immunization Social Media Toolkit Pilot – A few spots left!
Would you like to build support for immunizations and answer your families’ common questions outside of the visit? You can save time, but still keep yourself the key source of vaccine information for your patients and families by using the AAP Immunization Social Media Toolkit<https://www.aap.org/en-us/advocacy-and-policy/aap-health-initiatives/immunizations/Practice-Management/Pages/Immunization-Social-Media-Toolkit.aspx> to share resources, videos, memes and more. We are looking for 5-10 practices willing to pilot test this Toolkit from January to March, 2018. The practice would need to:

  *   Assign a Project Lead. This can be a physician, practice manager, immunization champion or person of your choosing.
  *   Create (if need be) at least two social media accounts (preferably Facebook and Twitter);
     *   Use the Immunization Social Media Toolkit to obtain guidance on selecting a platform and opening an account
  *   Recruit parents to follow the practice’s social media account;
  *   Share memes, videos, tweets/posts and resources from the Immunization Social Media Toolkit through the account for at least 3 times per week for 8 weeks, in January-March, 2018;
  *   Discuss challenges, successes and tips with other pilot testers via calls and other online platform;
     *   The AAP will coordinate conference calls and an online platform for sharing.
     *   Share at least 6-8 times (nearly weekly) via at least 2 phone calls and a most weeks on a Listserv or other collaborative tool (Facebook group, discussion board, Share Point site).
  *   Follow or like the social media accounts of other pilot testers
     *   Share their posts and/or engage by commenting
     *   Follow or like the social media accounts of the CISP Project Advisory Committee
        *   https://www.facebook.com/PedsGeekMD/
        *   https://www.facebook.com/UnionPediatrics/
  *   Manage and respond to followers’ comments/questions;
  *   Use AAP-developed questionnaire to survey families/followers anonymously about the messages they viewed through social media; and
     *   Submit family survey data to CISP staff
  *   Complete an evaluation of the toolkit
     *   Survey will include a request for feedback on how the tool could be improved.
In return, you will receive:

  *   $500 as compensation for your time
  *   Support from the AAP in setting up and using your social media account.
  *   Access to AAP-member social media experts!
  *   The satisfaction of helping other practices start or improve their social media immunization messaging!

Please note we are looking for 5-10 practices. Depending on interest, practices may be asked to fill out a brief application. It is possible not all applicants will be included.
