If your company is interested in Process Safety Management (PSM), you
need to attend the next MCIC Safety Committee meeting on Wednesday,
February 20 at 10:00 AM in the MCIC Raleigh office.

Stephanie White, Process Safety Management compliance officer with
the Raleigh Region of NC OSHA (and colleagues) will be covering the
basics of a PSM-focused audit from the agency's perspective.

In addition to the session on Process Safety Management, the
committee plans to discuss implementation of The Department of
Homeland Security's Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards and
Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT), possible legislative
incentives for safety/environmental performance, and any "best
practices" issues that committee members wish to discuss.

Please forward any suggestions for additional agenda items to the
Safety Committee Chair, Dick McDonald at
