City, county leaders set public hearing Monday on Comprehensive Plan

DURHAM -- Monday night may be the last chance for residents to tell 
government officials how they feel about a plan meant to be a guide for 
long-range planning for the city, county and Durham Public Schools.

Durham City Council members and County Commissioners will hold a joint 
meeting to hear public comment on the Durham Comprehensive Plan at 7 p.m. 
Monday in the Durham City Council Chambers in City Hall.

On Monday, leaders could vote to adopt the plan or postpone the hearing to 
review the plan further.

Both Cross Counties and OWD have concerns with what the comprehensive plan 
map shows for their neighborhoods.  The map (all 8M of it) and text of the
