July 4th Celebration  

Durham Parks and Recreation and Light Up Durham invite
you to celebrate patriotism and civic pride at
Durham’s July 4th festivities on Monday, July 4th. 

Please see the schedule of activities below (all times
are tentative and are dependent on the actual end time
of The Durham Bulls baseball game which begins at
5pm):

At The Durham Bulls Athletic Park 

5pm 
Durham Bulls Baseball Game (gates open at 4pm, tickets
required for game)

7:30pm 
Gates to DBAP open at the end of 7th inning for free
admission

8:15pm              
Live performance on ballpark stage by Durham’s House
of Rhythm 

9pm                     
Messages from The Troops, The National Anthem by
Durham Police Department Choir followed by FIREWORKS 


At American Tobacco Historic District Amphitheatre
(324 Blackwell St. across the street from the DBAP)

6pm
LIVE performances by the Lyon Park Dance Group –
Eclipse, and a special performance by  Johnny White
and the Elite Band and a special guest appearance by
Erica Davidson, FOX 50’s Gimme The Mike 2005 winner.

At the conclusion of the performances we’ll all go out
to see the fireworks show!
