INC NEWS - New Chief of Public Safety at Duke

The Office of Community Affairs is pleased to inform you that Aaron L.
Graves, chief of public safety at the University of Southern California,
will join Duke University as the associate vice president for Campus Safety
and Security. He was selected from a strong pool of candidates and brings a
wealth of experience to the post, having served for ten years as executive
director and chief of public safety at Southern Methodist University before
assuming his current leadership post at the University of Southern
California.

His appointment begins Jan. 9.

In the newly created position, Mr. Graves will oversee strategic and
tactical initiatives to ensure an enhanced and integrated approach to
safety and security at the university and medical campuses.
