INC NEWS - Litter Index Schedule

This is from Dorothea Pierce of keep Durham Beautiful. It is the litter
index schedule so you could pick a time and help out with this project. It
was something that I talked about at the last INC meeting and something
that I thought we (the INC membership body that lives all over Durham)
could pitch in and adopt as a project of INC. Her email and contact info
is included below for you to tell her when you're available. See you

Dear Volunteers: 
Here is the schedule for the Keep Durham Beautiful Litter Index:
 
The Date is June 21st.  The Place is 1833 Camden Avenue, Solid Waste
Management Operations Center.
The times are:
 
Group 1 – 7:30am to 10:00am
Group 2 – 8:00am to 10:30am
Group 3 – 9:30am to 12:00 noon
Group 4 – 10:00am to 12:30pm
Group 5 – 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm
 
Each group will meet, watch a video, then get a ride in a van (donated by
the wonderful County Solid Waste Department) and cruise their assigned
area. Volunteers will grade each section as they come to it (as the video
will explain), and then return back here for snacks before going back to
work or home. Volunteers need bring nothing but a smile, and their
enthusiasm to stomp out litter in Durham!!  Feel FREE to sign up for more
than one shift if you like, I need a minimum of five volunteers in each
slot but have room for up to 14!!!  The more people we have the more
accurate the numbers will be.
