Honor Your Neighborhood Hero

Each year, the Inter Neighborhood Council presents neighborhood hero awrds 
to distinguished citizens for their efforts throughout the year.


Perhaps it is someone who fights crime on your block, or somone who picks up 
litter, or takes in lost pets, or created your neighborhoods' website.


The Inter Neighborhood Council's Annual "Honor Your Neighborhood Hero" 
Awards is the perfect way to make sure your hero gets a well-deserved pat on 
the back.


Nominate your neighborhood hero so that he or she can can be recognized this 
September at the prestigious Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club.




 


In 250 words or less, let us know how this individual makes a difference in 
your neighborhood. Consider these possible areas:

*	Crime and Safety
*	Special Projects
*	Government Liaison
*	Beautification
*	Community Events
	 

Nominations must be received by August 10, 2006 in order to be considered.
