Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
 
SCHEDULE FOR CERT CLASS #16
 
All classes will be conducted at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC),
Durham County Fire Marshal's Office, 2422 Broad Street, Durham.
 
Classes are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with approximately 1 hour for lunch.  
Lunch is on your own.  Student manuals will be provided.  Bring your note taking materials.
 
If you are interested in participating in this training, you must individually 
contact the program manager no later than close of business December 28th 
(contact information is below). Below is the class schedule.  
 
January 6th (Saturday)
Disaster Preparedness  
Fire Safety (long pants required, no sandals or open toe footwear)
Light Search and Rescue
 
January 20th (Saturday)
Disaster Medical Operations (bring a blanket)
CERT Organization
Disaster Psychology
 
February 3rd (Saturday)
Terrorism and CERT 
Course review and administrative details
