INC NEWS - Z06-51 (Scott King &751) Rezoning granted a continuance...stay tuned!

The developer asked for and was granted a continuance
on the rezoning case. It is only because of the
involvement of concerned neighbors that the
continuance was even requested. The plan is for all
those concerned parties (and not just those officially
notified ~15 homes on Salix, Scott King, and 751) to
meet with the developer (George Stanziale) before the
zoning case is considered to agree on truly committed
elements. 

The ~325 signatures on our petition is no small
factor. And now there's more time to sign! Please help
us get 1000 signatures before the follow-up planning
commissioners' meeting to vote on Z06-51 (Jordan at
Southpoint):

At least have a look at the petition. It is quite
positive in tone and only requests that the
commissioners and councilors enforce environmentally
responsible development in Durham.
