INC NEWS - FYI: regarding exemptions to transfer tax.

Rep. Larry Hall has been very quick and friendly about
getting back to me wrt my questions about the transfer
tax. (So has Rep Wilkins, incidentally.)

Of particular interest to the INC is Rep. Hall's
answer regarding exemptions for senior citizens and
renovators. Mind you, it is not definitive, but it's a
good indication (touch wood).

Rep Hall wrote:

Q. Is there any way to negotiate the transfer tax with
the following exemptions?  

A.  Depends on the final version but I think the
limitations can be set at the local level."
