it's sort of a shame that anyone needs to be reminded of this, or that
even a day needs to be dedicated to it in order for it to happen.

But Sept. 24th, 2007 has been designated as Family Day - A Day To Have
Dinner With Your Children. A national initiative to remind parents that
what your kids really want at the dinner table is YOU!

In this rushed-both parent working-world we live in, too often dinner
becomes a multi-shift ordeal. Try to change this, if only for one day, and
use this time with your children to instill in them the values they will
carry with them throughout life.

Family Day is an event supported by The National Center On Addiction and
Substance Abuse.
