One stop no excuse absentee voting for the Durham Municipal Elections
begins at 9am, Thursday, Sep 20, 2007, at the Board of Elections Office.

SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR!!!    NEW STATE LAW!!!

Citizens may now register and vote at the same time at one stop. 

If you are not currently registered, but will be at least 18 on election
day, are a US citizen, and have resided in Durham at your current
residence address for at least 30 days, you can register and vote at one
stop. You must have ID showing your current residence address. There are
several types of approved IDs-please call 919-560-0700 for details.  The
entire process of registering and voting will take only a few minutes.

One stop voting will be conducted at the BOE office, 706 W. Corporation
St.  919-560-0700.

One stop voting hours for the City of Durham Municipal Primary are:

 
Thursday and Friday, 20-21 September

9am-5:30pm

Saturday and Sunday, 22-23 September

Closed

Monday through Saturday, 24-29 September

9am-5:30pm

Sunday 30 September

Closed

Monday through Friday, 1-5 October

9am-5:30pm

Saturday 6 October

9am-1pm

SAME DAY REGISTRATION AND VOTING IS ONLY FOR ONE STOP--YOU CANNOT REGISTER
AND VOTE ON ELECTION DAY.  ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2007.  ALL
REGULAR PRECINCTS WILL BE OPEN FOR VOTING FROM 6:30AM UNTIL 7:30PM.
