I'm not sure what "minor technical revisions" really
means, but this amendment appears to relate to:

'Residential Suburban (RS) Development Intensity'

'Nonresidential Development in Residential Districts'

'Open Space'

'Floodplain and Flood Damage Protection Standards''

'Pedestrian and Bicycle Mobility'

'Enforcement, sections relating to sedimentation and
erosion control'

Among other things...

Would love it if anyone has anything to say about
these revisions, as reading this stuff makes my head
spin ;)

the text of the Durham Unified Development Ordinance
(UDO):

Text Change TC07-13 will propose minor technical
revisions to sections of the Unified Development

4.3, Nonresidential District Intent Statements; Sec.
5.2, Use Categories; Sec. 6.3, Residential Suburban
(RS) Development Intensity; Sec. 6.8, Infill
Development in Residential Districts; Sec. 6.9,
Nonresidential Development in Residential Districts;
Sec. 6.11, Planned Districts; Sec. 7.1, Housing Types;
Sec. 7.2, Open Space; Sec. 8.4, Floodplain and Flood
Damage Protection Standards; Sec. 9.8, Vehicular Use
Area Landscaping; Sec. 10.2, General Requirements
[Art. 10, Off-Street Parking and Loading]; Sec. 11.3,
Prohibited Signs; Sec. 11.4, Signs Allowed in All
Districts without a Permit; Sec. 11.5, Signs Allowed
in Right-of-Way; Sec. 11.6, Signs Requiring Permits;
Sec. 12.4, Pedestrian and Bicycle Mobility; Sec. 13.6,
Street Connectivity Requirements; Sec. 14.2,
Nonconforming Uses; Article 15, Enforcement, sections
relating to sedimentation and erosion control; Sec.
16.3, Defined Terms (Building; Existing Conditions;

The Planning Commission public hearing is tentatively
scheduled for November 13, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the
City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza.  Please
contact the Planning Department for confirmation of
the hearing dates.  The proposed revisions, once
finalized, may be viewed at the web site listed above.
