There have been several suggestions that my statement,
"The best way we can make an impact is for EVERY
concerned citizen to keep
emailing/calling/communicating their concerns to city
and county gov't officials, as many times as
necessary," was misguided.

I just wanted to clarify:

I didn't mean to encourage people to bombard gov't
officials with long, ranting emails...only that they
should let these officials know where they stand on
this and other issues -- a simple one lined, "please
close the loophole...vote against annexation...etc.
etc" would give our gov't officials a strong idea of
where their constituents stand, and let them know that
it's not just the few of us who chime in regularly.

I'm not saying this has happened, just that it's not
what I meant.

Thanks to all of you who have written already. When
you see the increasing clearing of the land around
here, the areas of Jordan lake turning into meadows,
and the traffic resulting from overcrowded schools, on
a daily basis as I do, the situation seems very
urgent, indeed.
