            Newslink: California HOA Mediation Bill Vetoed
            California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed a bill (AB 567) recently that would have created a bureau to help mediate a number of homeowners association disputes, according to an article in the San Diego Union-Tribune. The bill also would have provided training for association board members. Schwarzenegger vetoed the bill because it would have created "another layer of government bureaucracy (that) is costly and unnecessary." CAI lobbied against the bill.
