City Hosts Central Durham Gateways Plan Open House January 22

Fast Facts:

*         The Central Durham Gateways Plan is a comprehensive study of
the "corridor of gateways" along portions of N.C. Hwy. 147 and the U.S.
Hwy. 15-501 Bypass.  The plan has been under construction since 2005,
with three public input sessions conducted in 2005, 2006, and most
recently in December 2008.  

 

*         The purpose of this open house is to provide Durham residents
with a final opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback regarding
the draft plan prior to its submittal through the formal approval
process.

 

*         To review a current copy of the revised plan prior to next
week's open house, visit the City's Web site at 
http://www.durhamnc.gov/departments/planning/gateways.cfm.
