[Durham INC] Changes to UDO

Planning Commission will be hearing 2 potential changes to the UDO in May
1) Lower parking requirements in compact tier (85% of the requirement in suburban tier instead of 90%), no requirement if pedestrian business district and use of on-street parking in some cases
2) A bunch of minor technical corrections (allowing CN in compact neighborhoods, saying that you have to highlight what you are changing if you want a site plan changed, requiring a special use permit for group homes in RS-M zone, etc.)  If you want to see the full text, www.durhamnc.gov/council/ord%5Fchanges/attachmentA_TC0900003.pdf
