KDB Community Grants Due Saturday, June 20, 2009  
Keep Durham Beautiful (KDB) wants to remind its neighbors that Saturday, June 20, 2009 is the deadline for KDB's third quarter grants review.   
 
Do you have a project that relates to KDB’s key issues of litter prevention, waste reduction, and beautification?  The grants support community volunteers that want to take ownership of their environment but are looking for a leg up with funding.  The grants are up to $500 and will be reviewed for approval by the Grants Committee of the KDB Board of Directors.   
 
 Register on-line at www.KeepDurhamBeauiful.org  and submit by June 20 to be considered for disbursement in July 2009.  The next grant cycle will be in September (deadline 9-20-09) for disbursement in October (great tree or flowering bulb planning weather!)
