[Durham INC] Paperhand Puppets at Forest Theatre (Outdoor) in Chapel Hill -- Must See!

The kids and I LOVE the giant Paperhand Puppet Performances, and the ones at Chapel Hill's Forest Theatre (Outdoor Ampitheatre) are the absolute best! This year's performance, the Living Sea of Memory, is top notch. Tonight's performance was absolutely packed, with a wide audience (retiree couples to families with young kids (3 YO and older)), and the entire audience was into it.
 
The hand-made, giant puppets are amazing as usual, and the message is a very loving (and not extremely political) one...and the live music that accompanies the performance is incredible. Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $7 for kids over 3 YO...well worth it. And if you can't afford this, that's okay, they welcome everyone -- hence, 'suggested donation'...

They also perform at Raleigh's Museum of Art (off I-40) Sept 11 and 12, but I highly recommend seeing them in the outdoor, open air Forest theatre...the natural surrounds, as dusk turns to night, is a show in itself.
