Old West Durham Home Tour

We invite you to come inside the homes that make this neighborhood special.

True to its mill village history, these modest homes are about function and simplicity. Each house on the tour is unique and infused with the character of its owner. The cornerstone of the "Not so big" movement.

Visit the Tate House, the most documented house-move in Durham's history, 100 year old restored mill houses, old parsonages, bungalows, a Sears & Roebuck house, the Prohibition House... 10 homes in all.

Sunday, October 18, 1-5pm (rain or shine)

$5/adult in advance (children with adults free)
Proceeds benefit the OWD neighborhood association.

Tickets with home descriptions can be bought in advance at the Regulator Book Store ($5/person). Tickets also available on the day of the tour -- at corner of Green & Virgie ($10/person).

Home Tour co-chairs are John Martin & Marcia Kirinus. Here's a printable flyer... http://www.owdna.org/hometourpage.htm

hope you can join us,
John Schelp
