[Durham INC] Medlin rules protest petition valid -- word on the street --

It's definitely worth writing the BOCC (BEFORE their closed session meeting THIS THURSDAY) to demand that, if the planning director has indeed ruled the protest petition valid (and bravely so!), 1) that they openly inform the public ASAP, and
 furthermore, 2) that they make things right by applying the protest petition to the BOCC vote on Oct 12, thereby rendering insufficient the 3-5 vote approving the rezoning.
