'Sippers' free on DATA Saturday, June 12

The public is invited to enjoy a relaxing "Hop, Sip & Ride" evening on the town Saturday with neighbors, taking a free DATA bus to and from downtown.

Old West Durham Neighborhood Association neighbors -- and anyone else who would like to participate -- are asked to meet at the bus stop at Hillsborough and Hale at 4:40 p.m. Saturday.

Latecomers will miss the bus. Literally.

The tour will visit the West End Wine Bar, then Bull McCabe's and, finally, Dain's Place.

Hop, Sip Ride is hosted by the Old West Durham Neighborhood Association and Clean Energy Durham as a part of Get Up Go Durham, a project to encourage Durham residents to bike, walk and ride the bus.
