Durham City-County Planning Moves Customer Service Center

Center Moves to New Location on Ground Floor of City Hall August 2

 

DURHAM, N.C. - Beginning Monday, August 2, 2010, visitors to City Hall
who need assistance from the Durham City-County Planning Department
should note the new location of the department's Customer Service
Center.

 

The new center, located in room G300 on the ground floor of City Hall,
replaces the front counter at the main entrance of the department.  The
new center is now across the hall from the department and closer to the
stairway exit from the City Hall lobby.  

 

The department moved its center to provide improved support to Durham
residents since the new center is larger and has its own reception area
for residents to receive more assistance from staff.  The previous
location only allowed for assistance to be provided over a counter in
the main lobby of the department.

 

The Customer Service Center staff can also be reached by phone at (919)
560-4137, ext. 28214 or 28252, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5
p.m.
