[Durham INC] Street light repair for entire neighborhoods

Most street lights that are out, are called in one at a time by one of the  
neighbors.
Duke Energy is highly responsive to these calls (800-777-9898)
 
They often ask for the house number that the light is in front of, and  
perhaps to tie a ribbon around that pole if we are willing.
 
Wouldn't it be nice if instead of calling these in onesy, twosy.... the  
entire neighborhood inventoried all their blown street lights, and reported 
them  in bulk. Sure would make it easier on the repair guys and save gas, too.
 
Any neighborhood interested is welcome to share this idea. It wouldn't be  
hard to organize using our listservs.
