[Durham INC] New "CityLife" Tomorrow On DTV8

Tune in to DTV8, the City of Durham's government channel on Time Warner
Cable channel 8, to watch a brand new episode of "CityLife" beginning
Saturday, December 4, 2010, at 7:30 p.m.

 

Just how do economic incentives benefit cities and their residents? This
month, "CityLife" Host Beverly B. Thompson is joined by Greater Durham
Chamber of Commerce Vice President Ted Conner and Downtown Durham, Inc.
President Bill Kalkhof to take a closer look at how Durham uses economic
incentives to attract and retain businesses and jobs.

 

For the second half of "CityLife", Deputy City Manager Keith Chadwell
and Union Independent School Board Member Michael Jones discuss how the
Durham City government uses economic incentives to help large and small
businesses as well as nonprofits.
