Historic Happy Hour at Revolution
January 24, 5:30-7:00

On January 24th,  please join Preservation Durham for cocktails and 
private tours at the beautiful Baldwin Building!  Baldwin's was once 
one of the premier department stores downtown. Thanks to a thoughtful 
renovation completed in 2005, the 4-story building found new life as 
12 popular loft-style residential units above one of Durham's most 
gorgeous and admired restaurants, Revolution 
(www.revolutionrestaurant.com).   The lofts are being converted from 
for-rent apartments to for-sale condos, so you can be among the first 
to see and hear about this exciting update to the downtown real 
estate market. Enjoy drinks and meet up with tour guides from 
Greenfire Development who will conduct small-group tours of one of 
the residential lofts while sharing building history.

Historic Happy Hour is a new series of events designed to provide a 
networking forum for folks interested in learning about preservation 
related issues in Durham. Join us after work to unwind and meet local 
professionals who are knowledgeable about various preservation 
topics. Gatherings are scheduled from 5:30-7:00pm on the third 
Thursdays of alternate months, September through May (although the 
January event is on a Monday, due to certain scheduling restrictions).
