Durham Holds Southside Revitalization Project Briefing April 7

 

DURHAM, N.C. - The Durham City Council will hold a briefing on the
Southside Revitalization Project on Thursday, April 7, 2011, beginning
at 9 a.m. in the Committee Room, located on the second floor of City
Hall.  

 

The purpose of this briefing is to review the history of revitalization
efforts in the Southside neighborhood and to review an analysis of
alternative courses of action for proceeding with those efforts.  

 

Information will be presented by the City of Durham's Community
Development Department supporting its recommendation to proceed with the
steps necessary to develop mixed-income rental housing on the Rolling
Hills site as proposed by McCormack Baron Salazar.

this effort should visit the City's website at
