Durham Seeks Feedback on Curbside Recycling Program

Online Survey Now Available for Residents' Opinions on Recycling

 

DURHAM, N.C. - The City of Durham is currently seeking residents'
feedback regarding curbside recycling practices through an online
survey.  

 

"The City's Solid Waste Management Department is continually striving to
reduce waste within the city and provide residents with exceptional
recycling collection service," said Waste Reduction Coordinator Larrisha
McGill. "Over the last year, the City has made changes to the recycling
program and is seeking information from residents that will assist in
the decision-making process as the department reviews its goals for
various waste reduction plans," McGill added.

 

The survey can be accessed through the City's website at 
www.DurhamNC.gov/Departments/Solid. The deadline for completing the
survey is April 30, 2011. For more information about this survey,
