LANE CLOSURE FOR NORTHBOUND DURHAM FREEWAY TONIGHT

 

RALEIGH - The northbound left lane of the Durham Freeway will be closed
overnight from I-40 to T.W. Alexander Drive (Exit 7), weather
permitting, as part of the N.C. Turnpike Authority's Triangle Expressway
project. The closure from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. will allow construction crews
to work along the median, as lanes will be restriped. A temporary
concrete barrier wall will be placed along the roadway to separate the
open travel lane from the work zone. 

 

N.C. Department of Transportation reminds motorists to watch signs for
construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
