The Durham City-County Planning Department wants to propose changes to the Mixed-Use zoning district in the Durham Unified Development Ordinance.  The objective is to craft zoning rules that developers will want to use to create new mixed use developments that Durham citizens want in their community.  The Department invites you to attend a visioning workshop where Planning Department staff will be asking for your input on identifying the key elements of a mixed-use project. Staff will use the results of this session as a basis for policy guideline revisions and formulating ordinance revisions to the current standards regulating mixed use development.
This session will be a workshop format so participants are encouraged to arrive at the start time.
