Fast Facts:

* The Durham City-County Planning Department is seeking resident
and stakeholder input on proposed changes to the Mixed-Use Zoning
District in the Durham Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The
department is in the process of crafting zoning rule changes that
developers will use to create new, mixed-use developments that Durham
residents want in their neighborhoods.

* As part of the process, the department is hosting a visioning
workshop where staff will be asking for input on identifying the key
elements of a mixed-use project. Staff will then use the results of this
session as a basis for policy guideline revisions and formulating
ordinance revisions to the current standards regulating mixed-use
development.
